“Real” Private Brand Grows in Germany

German supercenter chain, “Real” owned by Metro Group, has recently announced that it is plans to significantly increase its Private Brands in the the coming year. Roland Neuwald, a member of the management board of Real said: “A good own-brand (Private Brand) concept is now one of the most important elements for a successful retail company. Own brands offer the opportunity to even better meet customer demands with one’s own assortment”.
