Responsible for assuring compliance with Walgreens Private Brand third party manufacturing audit program and interacting with international and domestic suppliers

  • Implements and coordinates a third-party food manufacturing audit system with the ultimate goal of GFSI certification for all food vendors
  • Implements and coordinate a third-party manufacturing audit system for vendors of OTC drugs, supplements, health & beauty aids, and hard goods
  • Serves as primary technical source for vendor approval
  • Reviews vendor audits and certify each vendor’s corrective action/compliance program to address non-compliance
  • Supports continuous improvement by developing and maintaining a vendor scorecard that tracks audit performance\
  • Works and communicates closely with Product Managers to assure vendor compliance with time lines
  • Drives compliance with social responsibility standards
  • Position requires 50% business travel
