I happen to live in Buxted - and have owned the domain name www.buxted.com since the last century.
Buxted Chickens left this village over twenty years ago - the site is now an old folks home.
We are an industry-free community living on the edge of the Sussex High Weald - designated an "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty".
We have a 13th century church, a cricket ground (archery in the winter), a station with part-time station man, a single track train line, and trains that go to London every day.
